Copyright Policy

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository, in a journal or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.

Authors are encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in their institutional repositories or on their website) only after publication online.

When uploading, disseminating or repurposing Open Access publications, the journal should be clearly identified as the original source and proper citation information provided. In addition to the Version of Record (final published version), authors should deposit the URL/DOI of their published article in any repository.

 

Open Access Policy

All Research articles published by JRLMC are published by default as open access (irrespective of who funded the research) and reuse is permitted in accordance with the terms of the relevant applicable open access licence.

Open Access is the condition where the copyright holder of a scholarly work grants usage rights to others using an open license (Creative Commons or equivalent) allowing for immediate free access to the work and permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose (DOAJ).

Plagiarism Policy

The plagiarism policy for the Journal of Rashid Latif Medical College mandates that all submitted manuscripts are thoroughly reviewed for originality both during submission and prior to publication.

JRLMC utilizes Turnitin to conduct similarity checks, and any article with a similarity index exceeding 18% is returned to the authors for clarification or correction. Additionally, JRLMC adheres to the plagiarism policy established by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, ensuring compliance with national standards for academic integrity.
